Privacy Policy
What we collect
Silo collects information you give us directly when you create an account (phone number), place an order (payment method, pickup address), or list a drop (legal name, MEHKO permit, kitchen address, bank details via Stripe).
We collect device information (operating system, app version, push token) and approximate location to show drops near you.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: match customers with cooks, process payments, send pickup reminders, and verify permits for compliance.
We share order details with the cook you purchased from (your first name and order contents). We share payment details with Stripe. We share masked phone numbers with Twilio for cook-customer messaging.
How long we keep it
Account data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, we soft-delete your profile and anonymize orders after 7 years (required for tax and dispute records).
Your rights
You can export your data, correct your profile, or delete your account from the Account screen. For California residents, the CCPA gives you additional rights to know, delete, and opt out.
Children
Silo is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
